65/365 Banana Dream Cake
Melissa and I had a luxuriously long lunch with no kids, husbands or anything competing for our time. We ended the meal with this amazing Banana Dream Cake from TooJay's. So good!!!!!!!!!!!

64/365
I went to my best friends house tonight for girls night. I had every intention of taking pictures of the girls as we hung out - but we simply sat and talked for hours. Very needed, but not very portrait inspiring.
Glad I took these shots earlier in the day! Here's the sunset on I-75 North as I drive to her house.

Something new
I had the opportunity to create an invitation for Audra's daughters 1st birthday. I think it came out pretty cute!
Audra is one of the sweetest, strongest, funniest people I know. Check out her blog here.

60/365 Spring is coming!
Spring is coming, even if we are still expecting freezing temps this week. My garden is ready - Mother Nature be darned.
I just love love love baby strawberries. They are so tiny, delicate - but determined. They just burst out into the world with all their hairy green goodness.
First berry of the season!
The aloe is happy to get some sun
My avocados are starting to form real branches. For the last year they simply grew one trunk - straight up. Now they are budding off little happy branches!

Matt took a few moments to model the birthday gifts my family sent
And then he helped me clean up my broken dish. I broke the first dish from our wedding set, so now I'm on the hunt for it's replacement - a Pottery Barn Sausalito salad plate in Fig color.

57/365 Half day @ After Care
A half day at school means double the time I get to hang out with my after care friends. Add to that the fact that it was parent-teacher conference day and we had a LARGE group! 89 kids!
Good news is that it was a lovely day and we had the whole gym to play in. Plenty of room to spread out, make noise and have fun. I set up camp near the entrance to monitor who came in and to make sure children were signed in and out - but I had plenty of little friends who came to visit with me.
My partner in crime giving a much needed hug to one of our friends
I love this kid. He cracks me up every single day!
