The hubster is leaving for a week in Texas tomorrow for work so we took some time to enjoy brunch together today.

Our car was being worked on all day long, so we ended up seeing two movies.

I picked up T. at Band Camp today to discover a room full of kids equipped with nerf guns! They were having a great time and the pastor is a good sport.

Today was National Chocolate Ice Cream Day - gotta love America! Don't believe me? Well then check the interwebs here and here! What other way is there to celebrate than with some delicious ice cream at Scoops in downtown Winter Garden, Florida?

Blueberry Pie 157/365

With the many pounds of blueberries we picked this week, the logical thing to do was make Blueberry Pie!

First I had to go through more than 6 lbs of blueberries, sorting and storing them for the future. Then I washed the 5 cups I needed for the pie.








Then I prepped the blueberry and sugar mixture and poured it into a pie crust. I rubbed a little milk on top and dusted it with sugar.





Poked some holes in it to let the steam out



Then baked until golden brown and delicious. Matt couldn't wait to dig in!
