Celebrate Education 2010 was an amazing success! Kalena Meyers and her very creative team made the event fun for all! This year Celebrate Education was held on May 1st - the same day as the Kentucky Derby. So the event was Kentucky Derby themed. The decorations were fantastic, the food was delicious and the guests were a blast! All that and we raised some serious funds for the school - so it was a win win!

Anissa, Teresa and Aubrey serenaded us with the traditional "My Old Kentucky Home"
Then we all watched the Kentucky Derby live.
Part of the evening included a ladies hat contest. The hats were stunning and the ladies were beautiful.
Jennifer Delmolino won by a landslide!

Annie - MVA spring play 120/365
This spring the very talented students (and faculty) of Montverde Academy performed Annie and it was fantastic!!!!!!!
A few behind the scenes photos - how cute are they?
Gotta love our little Annie! Han Bit Yoon did a wonderful job.
I love watching the cast meeting. Lower school, Middle school and Upper school as well as their teachers all together, getting ready to pull off a wonderful show. Very cool!
The truth is - the faculty and staff who participated in the Hooverville scene nearly stole the show! They were a big hit and they had a great time.
Even after the show - they were still on!
The Lower School 5th graders did a great job in the Orphan scenes.
The infamous faculty Hooverville scene! You can watch the video of their song here and the rest of their scene here.
