This time of year, I have to have at least one Cadbury Creme Egg. Not the Caramel Egg, Not the Orange Creme - but the classic Creme Egg. The egg so big it is nearly impossible to eat in one day. The egg so sweet your teeth hurt.
It's tradition and it's yummy.
Just look at that perfect oval shape. And the cute little star.
First crack - perfect white and yellow creme inside.
From a different angle
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Time to eat it up!

Grandparents Day at Montverde Academy 85/365
Today was Grandparents Day at Montverde Academy. The Lower School students invited their grandparents to attend this special day full of activities and performances. It was a wonderful day and everyone had a fantastic time.
The day began in the gym with morning assembly. The grandparents were ready and waiting - it was quite nearly standing room only!
The younger groups did a special presentation at this time. They were quite adorable!
Some of the special after school groups also did presentations - including Bible Club and Choir
Then the students and grandparents moved back into the Lower School building. The teachers and classes had each prepared a special time of activities to be done together. Here are some of my favorite moments captured...
Downstairs activities
Upstairs classes
Then our guests enjoyed a fantastic buffet
And then onto the Fine Arts auditorium for some special presentations from our older classes - under Cynthia Cunningham's direction
We got a sneak peek of the spring musical - Annie! It looks to be outstanding!
Jon Hopman closed our time together with a few words.
Thanks everyone for a fantastic day. You can view all pictures of the day by clicking here.

83/365 Lower School Bible Club
Today the Lower School Bible club met and learned about Passover and Jesus' entrance to Jerusalem. To go along with the lesson - they created snacks. A donkey made out of pretzels, fruit roll ups and marshmallows.
