164/365

We planned to get up early at drive out to the coast to see the Shuttle Endeavour take off. The alarms went off just after 4:00 am and I decided to check the computer before jumping in the car and going. I'm really glad I did, because the launch was scrubbed due to a hydrogen leak. Hopefully we'll catch it later this week.

So these are the only shuttle pics I got today.

Since we didn't end up spending the day at the beach, we changed our plans and headed towards Downtown Disney. We hoped to meet up with some geocachers for an event, but we missed them. So we consoled ourselves with Ghiradelis ice cream.

Some pictures of the travel bugs that we brought to the event that we missed.

163/365 Retro Game Night

We heard about this Retro Game Night being held in Downtown Orlando and decided to check it out.

Some very tall buildings where we parked

The Game Night was held at the History Center, so of course we had to enjoy the exhibits a little

The place was huge. There were four floors of games and TONS of people. There were even free retro snacks

I kicked Matt's butt at Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots

We then spent the next 2 1/2 hours playing Uno with a fun bunch of people we met. One round the whole time! Longest Uno game ever!

161/365 Trivia Night

The past two weeks, we've been enjoying Trivia Night at a local restaurant. We haven't won on our own yet (we did a few months back when we played with our friends), but we have a great time.

160/365

We've had a lot of rain the past month and the grass in the medians is getting high.

Watch out, it's taking over the cars!

159/365 Webster Flea Market

I took Matt to Webster's Flea market today for the first time. With my grandmother and great grandparents living in this area most of my childhood, I've been there several times with my family. But this was Matt's first experience and he loved it. We explored the whole thing and sweated the entire time. I think he'll love it even more in the winter when the temps are cooler and the outdoor area has even more vendors.

158/365 Farmer's Market

The weather cooperated long enough this morning for us to make a trip to the local farmer's market. In the summer, it gets really hot really quickly. So we went early and spent about an hour browsing and came home with some great produce. Here's a little bit of what we saw:
