80/365

This morning we had a furry visitor to our back yard. We are fortunate enough to have sliding glass doors that gives us a great view of our backyard and The Wonder Cat spends many hours gazing outside. He wasn't quite sure what to make of this furry friend.

Later on, we took our first trip to Whole Foods in our area. It's not close enough to do regular shopping, but still nice for a visit!

Beautiful cacti outside

Miles of olives and other goodies

I'm working on capture some candid shots of people "at work"

Yummy cheese

I was taking pic of the sign outside and caught this interesting reflection in my lens

A baby avocado tree - growing from the pit of an avocado we enjoyed a few months ago. Which was from a tree in my parents yard in Miami!

75/365 Gardening

I did some gardening today. Planted, replanted and cleaned up. I also enjoyed my newest plant - a lovely hydrangea!

All three of the pics are from the same plant. I love that it is blooming in stages

A new container for some of my herbs (re purposed from a Christmas gift)

The wonder cat seemed happy to have some new foliage too.

74/365 Flowers and space!

I took some pictures at our local flower and produce stand - Kim's Cabbage Patch. She pointed these out to me and I thought they were really pretty. Turns out they have lots of spiritual significance. The Christians believe they represent the suffering of Jesus. The Jews think it represents part of the name of the Most Holy

I simply think it is pretty.

I give to you, Passiflora

Later on, we watched the shuttle launch on Nasa TV. Matt is a space nut, so he was all over that. I wondered what we'd be able to see outside and to my surprise - this is what I saw from my front porch.

Beautiful!
