268/365 A busy day at school

Today our fantastic Chemistry teacher did a really cool lab. I got to photograph the event and the students had a GREAT time.

The afternoon with the younger kids was great too. They were able to enjoy the beautiful sunshiney day and have lots of fun outside.

She has the loveliest green eyes.

Don't you just love it when their adult teeth are coming in? They get that awesome jack o'latern look that is just so endearing.

Today was his birthday. He was very serious about not getting his picture taken.

But he was changed his mind.

And thank goodness, because this has got to be one of my most favorite pictures!

Well - 100 days to go of a photo every day for a year. Bittersweet since I had to take my camera and lens to the doctor today. Yesterday the lens broke - not the glass, but the housing unit. Today I took it in to be repaired (still under warranty thank God) and found out that I need to send both the camera and lens in since they were bought as a unit.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's hoping that things will be fixed quickly and my baby will be back in my hands soon.

Until it returns I'll be shooting with my back up point and shoot (thanks David! Who knew it would come in so handy?)
