180/365 The Hospital

This is what where we have been every day for what feels like forever. The most plain and uncomfortable waiting room ever.

Matt calls this the "Your life sucks and so do your snacks" vending machine. Keep in mind - you have to walk down more than half the length of the hospital to even find this machine.

I'm sure this woman was incredibly generous and a very lovely person to know, but the portrait is a little creepy. This was the only thing other than posters warning us of horrible diseases to look at. Oh yeah - the TV that the orderlies keep setting to Telemundo.

Such uncomfortable chairs. Considering that officially the ICU visiting hours are only supposed to be 15 minutes every few hours - you'd think the waiting area would be a little nicer. Fortunately the staff has allowed us to visit with Joan for much longer, but still. Chairs that you can't move without moving the entire row - WTF?
