

Matt calls this the "Your life sucks and so do your snacks" vending machine. Keep in mind - you have to walk down more than half the length of the hospital to even find this machine.

I'm sure this woman was incredibly generous and a very lovely person to know, but the portrait is a little creepy. This was the only thing other than posters warning us of horrible diseases to look at. Oh yeah - the TV that the orderlies keep setting to Telemundo.

Such uncomfortable chairs. Considering that officially the ICU visiting hours are only supposed to be 15 minutes every few hours - you'd think the waiting area would be a little nicer. Fortunately the staff has allowed us to visit with Joan for much longer, but still. Chairs that you can't move without moving the entire row - WTF?
