75/365 Owen and his new friend
We have a neighborhood cat who comes to visit us nearly every day. He's very sweet and lovable, but not fixed. He really just wants ear rubs and love - so I got out to visit him. Unfortunately our indoor cats don't know what to make of his existence.
I have named him Clementine - or Clem for short.
Owen the Wonder Cat really is not sure what to do with Clem.
Owen stays on alert though - even though they will never really meet.

66/365 All Colors all the time
Matt has been sick all weekend, so Colors has been hovering around him worried. She did take some time out to pose for me.
Oooooh, you have a camera?
Sure I'll pose for you!
How about this?
Or maybe something with me laying down?
Here's what happened when I tried to get Owen to pose
Nope. Not having any of it. Talk to the tail.

12/365 Another cold day
So cold again today. There was so much frost on the car, it looked like snow!
Here's how the Wonder Cat feels about all this cold weather

6/365
Since it's Three Kings Day, I thought I'd enjoy just our Christmas decorations just a little longer.
This little guy is one of my favorite snowmen decorations. I found him years ago in an after Christmas sale and he was 90% off. No one wanted him because his arm broke off. But I think he's absolutely adorable and I scooped him up. Now he gets a place of honor along side his two brothers (who have both arms).
More snowmen
Each year I gather the pictures taken during previous Christmas' and display them around the house. Here are a bunch
I love Christmas cards. I love them all - the simply ones that say "Merry Christmas" and the photo ones. The ones with glitter and especially the ones were a child has signed their name in big careful letters. I also love how every year they provide a source of colors and designs to enjoy throughout the season.
While I took pictures, the Wonder Cat enjoyed a nap.

2/365
The Wonder Cat was bound and determined to enjoy the patio, even though it was like 50 degrees today. He sat on top of our grill, huddled up and poofed out and defied me to make him move.
Can't you just hear him?
"I'm not cold, I'm not looking at you, I'm not cold, I'm not looking at you..."
"I'm not cold, I'm not looking at you, I'm not cold, I'm not looking at you..."
Every bit of him was poofed out trying to stay warm.
Here's the 2009 ornament my mom had made for us. She's given us a snowman ornament with the year on it nearly every year we've been married.

362/365 Home again, home again
We're back home and our kitties are thrilled! Colors can't get enough of being near us. While we walked around today she stalked us from her perch.
Owen was so happy to get to be "outside" again. He's not really outside, but he gets to go out on our enclosed patio. It's the best of both worlds - he gets to enjoy the fresh air and the smells and he stays safe. He was so happy to discover that "outside" was safe and sound.
It was good to see that my garden survived us being away. We have the BEST cat sitter (Monica, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Not only does she baby our kitties like they are her own babies, she also took care of the garden. The poinsettia is looking great! This is the one we got last year.
And our tree - it's nice to see our tree again. (Even if this is the view I have before I put my contacts in)
After some running errands and taking it easy, we decided to enjoy the VERY cold (by our standards) weather and head over to Disney World. I really wanted to see The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Hollywood Studios. It's so lovely, especially on a cold night with the fake snow.

One of our favorite things to do there is to try and find the Hidden Mickeys. Some are easy, like these two.
Others are MUCH smaller - the size of three light bulbs. There were 32 this year we found 27 before we were too cold to keep looking.
How cool is this? (BTW, the center soldier is a hidden Mickey - look at his head)
Some pictures of us amid the lights
After getting our fill of lights, we headed over to the Magic Kingdom for the parade and fireworks. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cold on the tram.
Fireworks over the castle
I love Cinderella's Castle at Christmas.
