186/365 Farmers Market

Quick trip to the Farmers Market with the family before they left.

We discovered zipper beans (supposed to cook like black eye peas)

My parents finally got the Crape Myrtle they've been wanting.

165/365 Farmer's Market and great food

The day began with a trip to the local farmer's market to load up on produce.

Onions

Garlic

Broccoli

Later on, Matt made dinner while the Wonder Cat watched

Matt made his homemade mac 'n cheese (based on Alton Brown's recipe)

He makes a few changes. He doubles the onion, adds about a 1/2 cup of chopped bacon and adds more cheese on top. Soooooo yummy.

I love him so much!

158/365 Farmer's Market

The weather cooperated long enough this morning for us to make a trip to the local farmer's market. In the summer, it gets really hot really quickly. So we went early and spent about an hour browsing and came home with some great produce. Here's a little bit of what we saw:

Today we went to the local Farmer's market

Later we did some Geocaching. I sat this one out and watched while my parents headed off in search of their prize
