Yearbooks are out! 134/365

 After a long year of work - the yearbooks are finally ready to hand out! Charles has really done a great job and he's ready to get them out!



The kids were really excited to see them.



They were handed out after school in the Student Center where all the Seniors, Sophomores and Freshman gathered. (The Juniors had a college info assembly to attend). It was controlled chaos and quite efficient! Members of the Yearbook Club did most of the work and they did a great job.







I loved seeing them stop as soon as they got the book and start flipping through it.













They quickly found chairs and couches and settled down to really get into it.

















Even as they walked back to the dorms - they were still paging through the book!

Celebrate Education 121/365

Celebrate Education 2010 was an amazing success! Kalena Meyers and her very creative team made the event fun for all! This year Celebrate Education was held on May 1st - the same day as the Kentucky Derby. So the event was Kentucky Derby themed. The decorations were fantastic, the food was delicious and the guests were a blast! All that and we raised some serious funds for the school - so it was a win win!

Part of the evening included a ladies hat contest. The hats were stunning and the ladies were beautiful.

96/365 Hanging out with Charles and Aubrey

During spring break, we got the chance to spend time with Charles and Aubrey.

They recently redecorated one of the areas in their house and transformed it into a zen, meditation room. Love the colorful piles of pillows.



It is American Idol night, and while we've never really watched it - Charles and Aubrey love it. They have been doing theme nights lately. Since the American Idols were singing songs of the Beatles, the theme for this week was bugs. Charles wore his big shirt and decorated with some of his buggy superhero action figures.

346/365 Christmas Party!

Tonight was Charles and Aubrey's annual Christmas Party. It's a blast and they ask that everyone bring a fun ornament for their Friendship Tree.
