158/365 Farmer's Market
The weather cooperated long enough this morning for us to make a trip to the local farmer's market. In the summer, it gets really hot really quickly. So we went early and spent about an hour browsing and came home with some great produce. Here's a little bit of what we saw:

157/365 Cats and cakes and stuff
The wonder cat had a vet appointment this week. Somehow, while there - he injured his tummy. It could have happened when he was protesting the stool sample - apparently he's not a fan of large sticks making friends with his rear end. Next thing we know, there are little blood drops every where.
So they had to shave the area to see what it was and sure enough, he clawed up one of his nipples (why do boy cats have nipples?)
Here's a quick peek at it while he's stretching.
In celebration of the end of Matt's first year of school, I baked a cake from scratch. Chocolate cake with homemade cream cheese frosting, very yummy!
While decorating, we heard a noise on the patio. Turns out there was a squirrel running up the screen! The Wonder Cat was hanging out outside and he was just as started as I was!

156/365 Storms are coming
It's a lazy day at home. Matt's first day off of the summer and we took it easy. I did sneak out for a few quick pics of the storm rolling in
Apparently even the fuzzy ones were taking it easy. Colors decided to use Owen as a foot rest.

154/365 Big skies
While pausing to take some pictures of the beautiful sky, I caught this guy in flight:

153/365 Lake Harris
Some shots of Lake Harris taken while driving over it.
Our great friends, Jenn and Trish. They are leaving us for the summer, but will be back in August. We'll miss them!

152/365 Babysitting
I'm babysitting - but not for children, for plants! Our friends are preparing to leave for the summer, so I am taking custody of their plants. Hopefully all will be be alive and thriving when they return!
A new plant of my own- green beans!
